Each tent is built on a hardwood platform, for coolness and for the view.
Each has a spacious veranda overlooking the Rufiji or the lagoon.
There are two chairs and a small table for morning tea or coffee.
The main bedroom can be made up with double or twin beds.There is a writing desk, a lockup safe, a floor fan and a thermos of cool drinking water.
There is electric power in the tents, with square 3 pin 240v electric sockets; the generator is switched off at night between about 10pm and 6am and battery inverters continue to power the tent.
There are paraffin lamps at night, outside the tent and in the dressing room.
The tents have double-zipped entrance at the front to allow air through. There are gauze windows with let-down flaps and the roof is layered for coolness.
There is a dressing room with storage shelves and hanging space, and twin basins with a vanity top and mirrors.
There is a power shower with hot and cold running water.
There is a flush WC.
